1. Activities

This could be anything hands on. You can have multiple activities for one lesson. Get creative!

Helpful Sites:

examples

  • Digestion activity: trace your own body and draw the digestive organs

  • Neuroscience: use pipecleaners to make neurons

  • Bacteria: draw 'supervillan' and 'superhero' bacteria

  • Science experiments: silly putty, rainbow density coloumn

  • Macronutrients: how fast saltine crackers (carbs) 'melt' in your mouth

2. Powerpoint Slides

(Those forced school presentation skills will finally come in handy!)

This is the meat of your lesson. Use a lot of pictures and discussion questions. The students love to get involved.

3. Worksheet

This helps the kids remember vocabulary you taught them.

Try fill-in-the-blank questions or even a wordsearch (remember how much you loved those?)

Lesson Plans

Fun. Informative. Interactive.

That's the Goal.

There are 4 parts to every lesson plan.

Go solo or grab a friend and make a lesson for any STEM subject you like.

Come to a meeting and tell us about your ideas. We may have input!

When you're done, send us your lesson so that we can look over it.

4. Instruction Sheet

Your co-teachers need a little guidance too ;)

Just let us know what you want to do 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc throughout the session. It doesn't have to be super detailed. We'll help you with it.
